There are times where after a workshop event has completed, that an admin may need to adjust attendance:
- Mark a learner as attended - meaning the learner attended the workshop but was not marked as attended by coming in through the platform.
- Mark a learner as unattended - meaning the learner clicked the Join Now button in the platform and was marked as attended, but did not actually fully attend the workshop. This might happen where a learner joined the workshop, but 5 minutes into it was called away to another pressing work issue and left the workshop without fully attending the workshop.
How to do this:
Click 'Events' from the left side navigation.
Select the toggle for 'Completed' events near the top left corner under "My events" text. This will show a list of all completed events that you have assigned to your learners. You'll see the high level on the number of learners who registered, attended, and left feedback from this view.
Click on an event to see detailed breakdown of registration and attendance data for that specific event. Click on the "Mark Attendance" button.
Find and select the learners that need to be marked as attended and hit "Mark Attended"
How does this affect feedback notifications?
- The feedback window for a completed workshop is 7 days (168 hours)
- If a learner is marked as attended within the first 4 days (96 hours) of the feedback window, the will receive the feedback notification email requesting they leave feedback.
- If they are marked as attended after that, they will not receive the feedback notification email requesting they leave feedback.
- The learner can see the completed workshop in their learning center and can leave feedback during the feedback window via the event card.
- The learner can also leave feedback via the feedback URL for the workshop, if they are marked as attended and it is within the feedback window.
